Ms. Susan P. Leifield, S.E.

Susan P. Leifield is a Principal and Partner with Johnson Leifield Structural Engineers. Ms. Leifield is the Managing Principal of Johnson Leifield Structural Engineers with duties that include office management, project management and advanced computer analysis of structures. Her experience with this firm includes numerous bridge structures, school, office, and recreational projects, as well as seismic renovations and residential designs.
Ms. Leifield is also an instructor in advanced high school mathematics.
In her earlier experience at Sverdrup Civil, Inc., St. Louis, MO, Ms. Leifield was a project manager in the Bridge Design office. She served as client liaison and supervised project design personnel for major highway bridges throughout the mid-west. She was also a trainer at offices nationally, facilitating a two-day seminar introducing employees to Total Quality Management.
At Urban Engineers, Inc. in both Erie and Philadelphia, PA, Ms. Leifield performed field engineering duties and project management for numerous transportation projects. For two years, she was also resident engineer for a section of the Center City Commuter Rail Tunnel, winner of the 1984 ASCE Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award.
